The youngest of 3 brothers growing up in a single-parent home just minutes from the Jersey Shore beaches, boardwalks and basketball courts were the backdrop of Patrick Whelan aka ShoreShot's upbringing.

ShoreShot is an artist on the up and up from the Garden State of NJ. He has released three originals LPs to date including, "Slowly but Shorely," (2010), "Progress Report" (guest starring EWald/2012), and, "Return of the Tide,"(2015) which just crash landed this month on iTunes / Google Play. ShoreShot's 'Return' is highlighted by instrumentation from !llmind and Eric G. The microphone coast guard rises to the occasion once again, combining his new production with his persevering lyric. From the anthemic, hard-hitting opener, "Sho Forth," to the laid back, "listen after a long day", "Long Way," the seascribe will take you on another spin for the win.

ShoreShot continues to perform at venues/colleges throughout the MidAtlantic region and has opened for acts such as Masta Ace, Smif N Wessun, Inspectah Deck, Maino, and Nappy Roots. He has also worked with local elementary and middle schools in Monmouth and Ocean county New Jersey and supporting relief efforts for families affected by Hurricane Sandy through his music. His words are honest and inspired. His cadence and flow will light a fire from 'write beneath you!'
